Why Schools Are Teaching CQR

The methods for making dentures has changed very little over the last 100 years. The techniques had become stagnant, rooted in tradition and not kept up with advances in medicine, measurement, imaging and materials. CQR has brought dentures into the 21st by working closely with leading universities in Europe and the United States. Decades of research led to the development of modern procedures and equipment. These methods, proven through data and testing, are so revolutionary, more and more universities and schools are adopting and teaching the CQR method for denture manufacturing.

This technique and system are so patient friendly and the resultant product so much more effective in service that all post-graduate dental prosthetic programs are dis-serving their participant/students if this technique and system is not an integral part of the taught curriculum. This system does not require the additional of an entirely new denture technique but, simply, the inclusion of an additional recording step/appointment and the use of the Condor articulator which is the only available machine which can record the dynamic record from the patient. This then allows the creation of the individualized denture for each patient.
