Video 1: This video will show you how to record the patients dynamic bite. The construction of the rims is explained in the training manual, found within resources menu.
Video 2: This video will show you how to programme the Condor articulator. Care must be taken to hold the upper and lower bows of the condor directly over where the posterior teeth will be to allow you to create a balanced pressure when generating the dynamic bite. Don’t use excessive pressure, just a light pressure is all that is needed.
Video 3: This is the setting up video. Please note that the red boxes are kept in place for the upper set up and the positioning of the two lower centrals. After that the green boxes are used to bring in the dynamic movement.
Video 4: Certainly when you are first learning this technique you will need a different way of thinking and working once you enter into the dynamic world. This video demonstrates a slightly different approach of setting the lower anterior and posteriors up. The beauty of it is that it gives you more control and stops the possibility of the vertical dimension closing, which can happen when you first learn the technique. We have called it after the first person that described it, The Rebecca Thompson Technique.
Video 5: This video shows the potential of taking the principles of doing full dentures into the partial world. This is just one example of how this can be achieved with this natural tooth arrangement.
