Dr. Ronald G. Presswood, DDS
Dr. Presswood is acting president of CQR and Director of Training for North America. Presswood is one of founders the CQR driven from his vast experience in dental surgery and research. His career began with the US Navy after graduating from the University of Texas Dental Branch, UTHSC, Houston in 1965.
Throughout his career he has been at the forefront of improving dental procedures as is represented by his professional peer groups. He has been a member of the Houston District Dental Society (Board of Directors, 1988; First Vice-President 1989-1990, President 1992), Greater Houston Dental Meeting Council (1996-2000), The Texas Dental Association (Council of Education, Trade and Ancillaries 1994-7), The American Dental Association, The Operative Academy, The Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics, The Southwest Academy of Restorative Dentistry, The Southwest Prosthodontic Society, The Academy of General Dentistry (Fellow, 1979), Fellow of the International College of Dentists, Fellow of the American College of Dentists, Omicron Kappa Upsilon as well as member of the Board of Directors and Associate Faculty of the L.D. Pankey Institute, Key Biscayne, Florida.
Presswood has authored or co-authored 2 collegiate textbooks and over 100 papers in areas including dental science, practice and administration for publications including Dental Clinics of North America, The Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry, The International Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry, Continuum II, and various professional journals. He has lectured at over 360 major dental meetings around the globe.
He holds an Associate Professor position at The University of Texas, Dental Branch and continues extensive biomechanical research at Loughborough University, Loughborough, Leicestershire, UK.
Jonathan Bill, RDT
Jonathan is the International CQR Technical Instructor. Jonathan brings decades of specialized expertise and developer of the CQR system and has over 40 years of dental experience.
As head of Research and Development, Jonathan combines hands-on experience and vision for furthering the development of modern denture construction. He is leading the way for future research which is revolved around the CQR concept and has a lot of experience at international speaking on this new concept. His expertise consists of Prosthetics, Crown and Bridge, Implants, Orthodontics and Chrome Cobalt Construction. Jonathan has been extensively involved with The Dental Laboratory Association, holding many positions, including Chairman and President. He has published papers in Quintessence, Journal for Dental Technology, UK Dental Laboratory Journal, US National Denturist Magazine, British Association of Clinical Dental Technicians, Inspire Magazine and the Journal of Canadian Denturism to name a few.
Ronald G. Presswood, Jr.
Mr. Presswood is Director of Operations Americas, and a founder of CQR. With degrees in BS and BSME from the University of Houston, Ron brings is engineering and mechanical expertise to the CQR team. Presswood’s engineering acumen was refined through his work NASA as Manager and Lead Test Engineer. Ron then founded his own engineering firm that developed sophisticated robotic cranes, water decontaminating systems and medical tools and systems. Presswood’s cutting-edge technology has lead to several patents and the CQR system of Morphometric Analysis of Human Dental Occlusal Function.
Dr. Toy, MMedSci, BDS, MFGDP
Dr. Toy is a co-founder of CQR and President of European Operations
After receiving a Bachelor Degree in Dental Surgery from the University of Bristol and a Masters Degree in Medical Science from the University of Nottingham, Toy built a career of raising the standards of all aspects of dentistry. His professional positions include: Founder of The Dental Business Academy, Clinical Director of Susan Dental and CEO of Invisinet Ltd. With a focus on modernizing efficiency and accuracy for dental training, management and education, Mr. Toy is a leader of adaptive technology for improving patient care.
Dr. Toy has numerous papers in peer review publications such as Primary Dental Journal, Oral Rehabilitation, Texas Dental Journal, and The British Dental Journal. He has held research and leadership positions as Lead Researcher Loughborough University, Research Champion EMSYNET, Council Member of International Association of Dental Research, Training Director of Leicestershire Scheme, Lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University, Lecturer at the University of Kent and Developer for the Department of Health. His high standards have been reinforced by receiving the first ISO 9002 accreditation GCDP in the UK.
John Taylor, RDT, DP
Mr. Taylor is the CQR Director for Australia and New Zealand. Taylor has built a prestigious career based on his advanced expertise in dentures and dental prosthetics. John holds advanced education for Dental Technician, Dental Prosthetist as well as extensive international post-graduate work in England, Germany, Liechtenstein, Canada and the USA. His reputation has earned him the position as Chair of the Dental Technicians and Dental Prosthetists Board of Queensland, President of the State and National Denturist Association, The Australian representative of the International Federation of Denturist and Life Member of the National Denturist Association. Mr. Taylor continues his research and development of progressive dentals techniques as Clinical Teacher for Dental Presthetists at Griffith University.
